Staff Representative

General Information

My Name is Maree Parkes and I am the Staff REP on our Board of Trustees.
I am currently Team Leader in Team 1 and classroom Teacher in Room 3. I am passionate about children's learning, especially their transition into school. My three children all attended TAPS, and I feel privileged to represent the staff in professional conversations that always reflect the best for our children and their learning at TAPS. I lead our Wednesday wonderland sessions where children who are starting school within the term can come with their caregiver and experience a classroom environment and what learning looks like before they start. I also attend our Friends of TAPS meetings and I am looking forward to our school Gala next year.
"Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future."
